Este modelo en escala 1:64 - declarada, ya que no lo he medido - de GreenLight Collectibles se basa en un Pontiac Firebird de segunda generación, modelo Trans Am de 1980, representando al auto del Bandido en la segunda película de "Smokey and the Bandit", del mismo año.
GreenLight utilizó de base el molde #045, el cual también sirve para el Firebird de 1977.
